que/lo que/donde/quien
The Spanish language has specific relative pronouns that we use in certain situations. The most important relative pronouns are: que,lo que, donde and quien/quienes.
The most commonly used relative pronoun is que. We can use it for things and people.
For example:
La chica que me gusta.
La ropa que me gusta.
lo que, on the other hand, is mainly used when you want to refer to a whole sentence fragment rather than a single noun.
For example:
No recuerdo lo que he dicho.
Donde is also often used, replacing the English where to describe a place.
For example:
La casa donde estoy es muy bonita.
quien, Mehrzal quienes, refers to people and is most often used with pronouns.
For example:
La chica con quien me reuní.
