Imperative with Pronouns

In the positive imperative, object pronouns are attached to the end of the verb: salutalo (say hello to him), guardatelo (watch it), facciamolo (let's do it).

The short forms da', di', fa', sta', va' double the first consonant of the pronoun: dammi (give me), dimmi (tell me), fallo (do it), dacci (give us), vacci (go there). The only exception is gli: digli (tell him), dagli (give him).

Two pronouns combine into one word: dammele (give them to me), dimmelo (tell it to me), daglielo (give it to him or her).

With voi and noi there is no doubling: ditemi, datemela.

The negative tu form uses the infinitive, and the pronoun is attached to it (dropping the final -e) or goes before it: non farlo or non lo fare (don't do it).
