Conditional
We use the passive (passive) structure when, for some reason, we do not mention the agent of the action, the actor, who is in the subject position in the active structure. Therefore, in this case, the emphasis in the sentence is transferred to another part of the sentence.
In the conditional mood, the passive structure is formed as follows:
In the present tense:
existence in conditional mode + verb + -va ending
For example: így sosem lenne felmosva a föld.
In the future:
(time determiner) + existence in conditional mode + verb + -va/-ve ending
For example: Majd/holnapra/estére lenne felmosva a föld.
or: Fehérre lenne majd lefestve a fal.
In past tense:
past participle of being + volna + verb + -va
For example: Te lettél volna elküldve a piacra, ha én nem mentem volna.
or: Bárcsak én lettem volna felkérve helyetted a szerepre.
