Passiv in anderen Zeitformen
Das Passiv funktioniert in jeder Zeitform: setze be in die benötigte Zeitform und füge das Partizip Perfekt hinzu.
- Futur: will be + Partizip, oder is going to be (The results will be announced on Friday.)
- Present Progressive: is/are being + Partizip für etwas, das gerade passiert (The road is being repaired.)
- Present Perfect: has/have been + Partizip (My phone has been stolen!)
- Past Progressive: was/were being + Partizip (The car was being washed when it started to rain.)
- nach einem Modalverb: must / can / should + be + Partizip (This form must be signed.)
Setze not nach dem ersten Hilfsverb: haven't been cleaned. Bei just und already verwendet das amerikanische Englisch oft stattdessen das Simple Past: The results were just published.
Beispiele
- The new library will be opened next spring.
- Our house is being painted this week.
- My phone has been stolen!
- Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- The car was being washed when it started to rain.
