越来越, 一…就 & 先…然后

Some links are fixed frames around the verb.

越来越 + adjective or feeling verb = more and more, often with 了: 天气越来越冷了。 (It's getting colder and colder.) Never add 很 after it. 越A越B = the more A, the more B: 他越说越快。 (He talks faster and faster.)
一 … 就 … = as soon as: 一 stands before the first verb, 就 right before the second verb, after its subject if it has one: 我一到家就给你打电话。 (I'll call you as soon as I get home.)
先 … 然后 … = first … then: 我们先吃饭，然后去看电影。再 also works for things not done yet; for past events use 然后.
又A又B = both A and B: 又便宜又好吃 (cheap and tasty). 一边A一边B = doing A while doing B: 他一边走一边打电话。 (He talks on the phone while walking.)
