못 (mot) + verb

This adds a meaning like “cannot.” It expresses that the subject lacks the ability, or there’s some outside reason for not being able to do something. Unlike 안, this one is generally not used with adjectives.

Simply place the word 못 in front of the verb/adjective you want to give a negative meaning to.
